The Menier Gallery is in a bustling area near London Bridge Station, Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre and Borough Market. UA Open Exhibitions are always among the most comprehensive displays of realistically priced contemporary art in Central London. Painters can submit abstract or figurative works including life studies, portraits, landscapes and still life paintings in all media. Sculpture has also featured since the Society's foundation in 1921. As well as mounting exhibitions to sell original works and prints, the UA aims to promote opportunities for commissions and demonstrations for members and the organisation of satellite exhibitions.
Receiving Day: Sunday 11th April, 10am to 12.30pm at the Menier Gallery. Both members and non-members can both submit up to six works.
Submission Fee: There is a non-refundable fee of £10 per painting and/or sculpture for non-members*. Submission is free for members.
Collection of accepted work: Sunday 18th April 11am to 1.30pm

* Works can be submitted to the Open Exhibition by candidates for membership who have been successful in Stage One of the selection procedure. If the candidate accepts an offer of membership, the submission fee will be included as part of the UA membership fee provided that the offer is accepted within a month of a written offer being made.
